A deeper dive with clients 

This in-person course allows mental health therapists and other helping professionals to explore some of the more profound concepts of the Internal Family Systems therapeutic model and become more familiar and comfortable with some of the basic concepts of IFS through experiential practice. 

This course adopts a comprehensive learning approach, striking a balance between didactic and experiential learning. It is designed to support the development of both intellectual and somatic knowledge and understanding of IFS, ensuring a thorough and effective learning experience.

​This course is for therapists and practitioners who have a basic understanding of IFS and want to deepen their knowledge of more nuanced IFS techniques and concepts.

A Deeper Dive With Clients 

This course allows mental health therapists and other helping professionals to explore some of the more profound concepts of the Internal Family Systems therapeutic model and become more familiar and comfortable with some of the basic concepts of IFS through experiential practice.

  • ​Cite the IFS concept of unattached burdens and steps to take when it is encountered in a client’s internal system.

  • ​Use techniques to provide a direct experience of Self and parts in the system.

Please Note:

This immersive will lead you to be IFS-informed and give you the opportunity to use it in your caseload. This course is not a level 1 through IFSI, and it is not intended to replace the need for an IFS institute level 1 training. Both facilitators are trained through IFSI; one is a certified IFS therapist, and the other is a certified IFS practitioner.

Getting to Ghost Ranch:

If you are coming to Ghost Ranch from out of state, you can fly in to either the Albuquerque Airport or the Santa Fe Airport. Albuquerque airport will likely be more economical. We recommend that you rent a car in either Albuquerque or Santa Fe, as that will be the easiest way for you to get to Ghost Ranch. Both the Santa Fe and Albuquerque airports have rental car access. Ghost Ranch is an hour and a half by car from Santa Fe, NM and two hours and a half from the Albuquerque, NM Sunport Airport.

Ghost Ranch is located on Highway 84. The address is: 280 Private Drive 1708, Abiquiu, NM, 87510-2001. This address or “Ghost Ranch, NM” can be put into Google Maps. 

 Can I book extra nights at Ghost Ranch?

If you are wanting to come to Ghost Ranch before or after the retreat that’s great, it’s a wonderful place to explore! Beyond the two nights of the retreat you will need to contact the Ghost Ranch front desk at 505.685.4333 to make additional arrangements and meals outside of the retreat.

***Please check with us around the name of the room we have booked you in BEFORE calling the Ghost Ranch Front Desk to book extra nights so that you can possibly stay in the same room and not have to move!!

 Can I bring a non-workshop participant to Ghost Ranch, (friend, partner, family)?

If you want to bring a partner, friend, spouse etc. many of the rooms can accommodate that and there is no extra charge. However, there is an extra charge for meals at a flat rate of $165.00 that we will add to your cost of $1650 if a person accompanies you wants additional meals onsite. Please let us know if you will be doing this as we need to let Ghost Ranch know how many will be attending meals and add this additional cost.

 Is there a payment plan?

Yes! You can choose a monthly payment plans at check out.

 Can I earn CEU's for the course if I'm not a NM clinician?

For clinicians residing outside of NM, please check with your respective boards to see if CEU's issued through the NM counselling & Therapy boards are accepted.

 Can I say I am IFS informed after taking this course?

Yes, you will be IFS-informed after completion of this course.

 Cancelation policy 

Cancellations can be made up to 60 days in advance and will be refunded, minus $400 deposit. Any cancellations less than 30 days before start of the program will forfeit full amount.
